Josh Anbil is a highly skilled and experienced consultant providing support to real estate companies. Josh has unique and deep expertise in managerial and compensation strategy. He delivers bold and dynamic business solutions, services, and integration for Anbil Consulting clients. Over the past 20 years, Josh has worked side-by-side with his clients and has advised hundreds of real estate companies on over 1,200 compensation consulting projects. While Josh has worked with several types of companies across all industry sectors, he specializes in advising privately-owned firms. Josh is a talented speaker and has been invited to present and discuss real estate compensation at several conferences and client-sponsored events.

Previously, Josh was President – Consulting for Ferguson Partners, an advisory firm focused on the real estate industry. Josh led three of the firm’s four business lines and served on its Board of Directors. As Senior Managing Director of the compensation consulting practice, he was the lead consultant and advisor for compensation consulting engagements and worked directly with Board of Directors, C-suite executives, senior management teams, and human resources executives to address a wide range of compensation topics and related strategic, organizational, financial, and leadership matters. Josh started his career in consulting at Lincoln Financial Group, Hewitt Associates, and PwC.

Josh received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois, Gies College of Business. He was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and is proud to cheer for the Bears, Cubs, and Bulls. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his patient wife and their three children. A caddie from the age of 13, Josh is an avid golfer and supporter of the Evans Scholars Foundation, always working to keep his IRRs above his handicap.
